Welcome to Brodie's personal page! Our 7 year old son, Brodie, was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome at the age of 7 mths old. Imagine hearing that your boy will have life-long challenges that include speech, cognitive and developmental delays, and a constant, insatiable hunger for which there is no cure. Brodie faces daily challenges that include constant hunger, stringent rules around all food, and frustration at not being understood because of his severe speech delay. We are so proud of Brodie! He has struggled and achieved so many little things that we all take for granted. He has taught me invaluable lessons in compassion, perseverance, empathy, problem solving, advocating and patience.
