My name is Harper and I am 18 years old. I participate in Special Olympics. I love figure skating, swimming, gymnastics and bowling. In the summer I love to ride my bike and go to the beach. I love animals and listening to music, which helps me to deal with my emotions. I also love younger children, watching horror movies and travelling. I spend my most days with taking care of my puppy Bella. I am a typical active teen who just wants to have fun with friends and not have to worry everyday. I struggle with Prader - Willi - Syndrome but it doesn't stop me from being the person I am today and to do the things I love to do. I was diagnosed with PWS when I was at the age of 2. I didn't learn how to walk till the age of 2, I didn't learn how to talk till the age of 3 and I had speech difficulties when I was growing up. Due to PWS, I have many learning differences and challenges. From PWS, I also experience insulin dependent diabetes,anxiety, sleeping and energy level issues.
