Thank you for visiting my personal campaign page! Our daughter, Gloriana was diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) at just 2 weeks old.  For those that don't know. Prader-Willi Syndrome effects 1-15,000 children. PWS takes place when the 15th chromosome doesn't copy over.  These children literally never feel full and can eat themselves to death if not carefully monitered.  They have very low muscle tone and require a strict calorie, healthy diet.  It is a very complex syndrome effecting hormonal complications and learning disabilities as well.  Imagine, being hungry even if you've just ate, never feeling that satisfaction of being full.

July 21st come join us at 11:00am as we walk to raise awereness!  We will start at 1227 21st St. NW and end on Ferndale Road!  There will be food, fun and prizes! We would love to have you join us!  The event is totally free, but with donations of $40 or more you will get a FREE t-shirt!  Everyone who registers and makes a donation will win a ticket for gift cards, good at various local businesses.   Kids are welcome, we'll have games and face painting for them!

All proceeds from the One SMALL Step walks go to fund the Prader-Willi Syndrome Research Plan jointly created by FPWR and PWSAUSA.
