Thank you for visiting Danny's Families' Personal campaign page!  My youngest son Daniel was born on 1.1.04 and diagnosed with PWS six weeks later. Please know that  Danny is the kindest, sweetest, most JOYFUL Soul that I have ever had the pleasure to know.  He is PURE in heart and spreads JOY to all who take the time to know him.  His "typical peers" at school amaze me everyday with their love for Danny.  They actually FIGHT over who gets to help him.......Danny is helping  those children become people who will always accept people who are different.  They will, no doubt be more compassionate adults because of Danny and others like him!

The heartbreaking thing is that Danny does have devastating issues of this disease, such as, the constant hunger, the fact that his brain doesn't work as well as it should and he has much difficulty with social interactions, we NEED to find a cure for some of these things or he is doomed to a life of dependence on other people.....I can't accept that and that is why I have decided to Host a OneSmallStep event in 2012.

I will update the page as soon as I have the date, time and details.  This journey is difficult, but it is made soooo much easier by the people in my life that are there for me and my family!  I am Blessed with awesome sisters, a brother, mother, nephews and nieces that support me and Danny and just adore him.  I am hoping that all who read this will find it in their heart to donate $10, $20, $30, whatever you can afford to support a more independent and happy future for my little Danny and all who suffer from PWS.  Thank you for your consideration!
