My beautiful son Kieran was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome a little over two years ago. Over these past two years, we have watched in awe as Kieran has become the most happy and wonderful little boy. He is an inspiration to all who know him and continues to face each challenge with determination and a good dose of laughter!

We have planned this One SMALL Step event and are helping to raise money for the Foundation for Prader-WIlli Research because there is currently NO cure for PWS. While Kieran has excelled at meeting all of his milestones, we know that someday soon he may develop an insatiable appetite. My heart breaks a bit more each day when I envision a future where Kieran will always feel hungry and will be unable to live independently. The only way to change this course for Kieran, and for all those living with PWS, is by raising money to fund further treatments to eliminate the challenges of this rare disorder. I, like my amazing Kieran, am determined to fight every stage of PWS until a cure is within our reach.
